A final Skype call with Tormod confirms that all is in order. Thanks to Anders for a list of English to Latin to Norwegian bird names alongside the Norwegian ring size. The accommodation is being cleaned and prepped and the fridge is being stocked with food ready for the first Team's arrival.
As well as that good news Tormod has also been good enough to provide us with an arial snapshot of the area with a green line running from the school (HQ) to the ringing site - a distance of about 700 meters:
